“This restaurant has been around for some years now and it is because the food is delicious and the customer service is Toptier. They had just closed and sent the chefs home for the day…but the owner was sweet enough to make me my request. I’m glad she did because I was then able to share those amazing salmon croquettes with my family. And they are a Hit. I will continue spread the word and support this pillar in the community. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK #TRUTH”

“This place has amazing food. I personally had the fried lemon pepper crusted salmon and this was probably the best salmon I have ever eaten. I also had the caramel French toast which was also so sweet and delicious. Definitely recommend this place for anytime of day.”

“My first time here and I love the experience. Black own and the owner was there helping out. I order catfish executive fried and it was so delicious. Also got mimosas flight and it was good definitely for the price. My mom had steak that cook perfectly. So juicy and tender. My aunt had jerk shrimp Alfredo omelette(chef kiss) also she had French toast flight they were so soft and good. Definitely will be coming back”

“I’ve been coming to truth for past four years and I must say this is my favorite breakfast spot in the chi, I’m very big on flavor and truth never disappoints. I get the caramel French toast, eggs, grilled salmon and its very well seasoned, I recently just tried the crawfish and grits and they were really good as well, as a simple guy I appreciate the taste and quality of the food here! “I’m from Ohio and came here for a solo trip to get away. Found Truth Italian on TikTok and saw that the food looked amazing. Was promptly greeted by the waitress/bartender. Got a double of casa rep with a piece of fried salmon to pair with a lemon aioli sauce that was FIRE! Got the Cajun Crawfish Omelette and it was phenomenal. Owner was so sweet and constantly checked on me. Will be returning when I come back to the Chi!”

“I just left from Truth and it’s always my local go to in Bronzeville. Today my sorority hosted a very large brunch and Peyton and her staff were ready!!! The food came out quick and was good as usual. They organized how we would pay and it was not chaotic at all for such a large group. I would absolutely recommend the lobster omelet. Chef kiss!”
